Syrian 'Mother of Pearl' Table - 19th Century

Despite its small stature, this antique table is a beautiful remnant of a craft lost to time. The white raindrop pearls are glittered across its surface, connected by various heart-shaped engravings that reflect an emotive scene. Although the octagonal top has a few missing pieces, these intricate features show both the skill and passion that the creator  invested into this piece.
