This item is an antique Uzbek Suzani, a large hand-embroidered textile Featuring fine silk embroidery on a yellow cotton ground.The textile is decorated with a large central medallion surrounded by intricate floral roundels and vines. Historically made by women as part of a bride's dowry to be used as wall hangings or bed covers.
