This Saddle cover has a compact Tekke design. S-shaped hooks and interconnected diamonds are just some of the motifs that adorn the border, whilst two columns of Turkoman Guls are carefully arranged on the main field. However, the most unusual feature of this piece has to be is its pentagonal shape, and the onyx grey and strawberry red fringes that surround it. Although this piece was primarily made for a saddle, it works well as an entry rug or even as a small wall hanging.
