This ultra fine antique Turkoman rug has a great composition. Stylised motifs shaped like candle holders line the inner and outer border, whilst a jagged pattern that resembles a train track sits in-between. The latter is also present on the ground of the main field, alongside the columns of tribal boxes known as Turkoman Guls. With the extra panels at either end and the continuity of the claret, navy and sandy yellow hues throughout, this rug is rooted with a geometric and well-rounded. Soft wool and handle.
