Antique Caucasian Shirvan Runner distinguished by its, all-wool foundation and a palette of natural vegetable dyes. The field features a rhythmic progression of memling guls set against alternating indigo and madder red grounds, anchored by a deeply personal human figure motif that signifies a major life event of the weaver. The inclusion of prized aubergine and vibrant green accents combined with the supple, "floppy" handle of its hand-spun wool construction. Sides reduced. Heavy corrosion on the black dyes.
