This tribal Mina Khani has great age and character to it. Explosive star-bursts pop like silhouettes along the deep red ground, a stark contrast to the delicate flowers that line the inner guard border. The dark checkerboard of the central field incorporates these motifs into its structure, adding a greater sense of cohesion and depth to the piece. Despite being worn along the sides, the traditional design and colour palette helps this rug to blend in seamlessly with other pieces of antique furniture.
