This is a Maimana Kilim, a traditional flatweave rug from northern Afghanistan. Hand-woven from 100% sheep wool, it features a reversible (one side faded- last 2 pics other side), pile-less construction. It is characterized by its bold, geometric diamond motifs and a colour palette of earthy pinks, deep indigos, and charcoals.
