This Afghan Garous Rug has a distinct Persian influence. Eye-catching palmettes blossom from the corners of the border and field, whilst stylised flower heads sprout with unusual square-shaped centres. Although the vertical line of flora acts could be identified as the focal point, the shared motifs and whitewashed yellows across the rug as show give this rug a coherent flow
